Jennifer Frey, MSN, NP-C – Nurse Practitioner & Electrophysiology Specialist
Jennifer Frey has been a valued member of Cardiology Physicians, PA since December 2001, contributing over two decades of expertise and compassionate care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. A board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Wilmington College, earned in January 2005, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware, completed in May 2000.
Jennifer began her career in cardiology on the cardiac step-down unit at Christiana Care’s Wilmington Hospital, where she developed a strong clinical foundation in cardiovascular care. While pursuing her master’s degree, she joined Cardiology Physicians as a Registered Nurse, later transitioning into her current role as a Nurse Practitioner on the Electrophysiology Team.
Working closely with Dr. Brian Sarter, Jennifer specializes in the interrogation and management of pacemakers and implantable defibrillators. She has attended numerous specialized seminars to stay current with advancements in cardiac device technology, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of device care and monitoring.
In the hospital setting, Jennifer is actively involved in patient assessment, physician communication, education, and discharge planning. In the office, she partners with physicians to deliver seamless patient care while interrogating cardiac devices and helping patients understand their treatment plans.
Originally from Easton, Maryland, Jennifer moved to Delaware in 1992 and graduated from St. Mark’s High School. She currently resides in Middletown, Delaware, with her husband Brian, their two sons, and two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, especially cheering on her teenage sons in their sporting events.
