Nicholas Chappelear

Nick Chappelear, MS, PA-C – Physician Assistant, Cardiology
Nick Chappelear is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Cardiology Physicians, PA in 2021. With a strong academic foundation and a passion for patient care, Nick brings well-rounded experience to both inpatient and outpatient cardiology.

He earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Harding University in 2018 after completing his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Boston College in 2013. Prior to joining the practice, Nick worked as a Physician Assistant in Gastroenterology in the Philadelphia area, where he developed a broad clinical skill set.

Nick’s connection to Cardiology Physicians began early in his career—he first encountered the PA profession while interning at the practice as an undergraduate student, an experience that helped shape his path in medicine. Now, as a member of the team, he provides comprehensive cardiovascular care by evaluating and treating patients in both hospital and office settings.

Originally from the Philadelphia region, Nick continues to reside there with his fiancé. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching soccer, and is a devoted fan of Philadelphia’s professional sports teams.

Nick sees patients at both the Newark and North Wilmington offices, where he is committed to delivering knowledgeable, attentive, and patient-centered care.
